Breaking News - 2 late entries have been accepted as this will now mean two groups of 4 players. Format now Best of 3 frames with best two from each Group qualifying into semifinals! Good luck to all competitors. . Six ladies have entered the Qld Championship commencing at 10 am at Sherwood Services Club on Saturday 3rd March 2012 Dress Code: Dark trousers or dark skirts, no shorter than kneecap, shall be worn to all match sessions. Plain coloured shirts with sleeves below the elbow and waistcoats must be worn for all matches.  Dress ladies dark coloured shoes shall be worn to all sessions, and can be open or closed toe shoes. No sports style shoes, sandals, boots will be allowed. The 2012 Queensland Women's Snooker Championship will be decided on Saturday 3rd & Sunday 4th March 2012 at the Sherwood Services Club, Clewley Street, Corinda. Online entries are able to be completed by clicking on 2012 Qld Womens Snooker Financial assistance will be offered to two (2) players to compete at the 2012 Australian National Women's Snooker at the RACV Club in Melbourne, Victoria on 17th to 19th August 2012 (this maybe available to play in the 2012 Oceania Women's Snooker at Princes Club, Carnegie, Victoria commencing 28th March 2012 after a commitment by the recipient to play at the Australian Championship)

Last night Danik Lucas beat Stephen Burford in the final of the Premier League Billiards. Chasing a start of 625 over 2-1/2 hours Danik proved too strong for Steve catching him with about 20 minutes to go. Steve struggled most of the night failing to produce the kind of form that saw him easily account for Garvin Gray in his semi final. Whilst in contrast Danik seemed to move his play to another level from what he displayed in his semi final against Les Watson.

 

Draw now available The C.Ex Coffs Snooker Club will conduct their annual 2012 Easter Carnival Handicapped Snooker Tournament commencing on Friday 6th., Saturday 7th. and Sunday 8th. April 2012. Prize money totals $3350.00
