Last night Danik Lucas beat Stephen Burford in the final of the Premier League Billiards. Chasing a start of 625 over 2-1/2 hours Danik proved too strong for Steve catching him with about 20 minutes to go. Steve struggled most of the night failing to produce the kind of form that saw him easily account for Garvin Gray in his semi final. Whilst in contrast Danik seemed to move his play to another level from what he displayed in his semi final against Les Watson. |
